Hi, everybody! Sorry I haven't been posting. I've been very busy with school, and haven't felt like reviewing anything. Today, I decided to try water marbling- A nail art technique where you drip some nail polish into water, swirl it into a pretty design, then stick your nail into it. It sucks. It makes a mess, it takes a lot of nail polish, and half the time you just end up with a colorful, sludgy lump stuck to your finger. However, if you like the swirly look, try this: http://www.morenailpolish.com/2011/08/my-take-on-dry-water-marbling.html Once I recover from the trauma of using 20 Q-Tips to clean my fingers of polish, I'll try that girl's technique. I wish I knew of it earlier.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day, everybody! Today I'll be reviewing Wet N Wild Color Icon Single in Nutty.
Nutty is a gorgeous silvery taupe. It's nicely pigmented, and very smooth. It would make a great neutral companion for a strong lip color. It sells for $1.99 at pretty much every drugstore ever. I would use it alongside Ulta Eye Crayon in Birthday Girl (It's a pale champagne, and makes a great highlight).

Hi, Everybody!
Hey y'all! My name's Deidre, and I started this blog to guide my fellow teenage girls in the right direction-when it comes to makeup. Now, I'm not saying that you can't wear that fabulous green eyeshadow, or that amazing hot pink lipstick. However, your fabulous green eyeshadow probably won't look so good with that amazing hot pink lipstick. If you're going to wear a bright color on your face- say, that green eyeshadow- you need to keep the rest of your face neutral to let it stand out(And to keep from looking like a clown/80's pop star). Anyway, enough with my less-is-more ramblings. One of the main points of this blog is that I will not review or use products that have been tested on animals. I find it cruel and unnecessary. I don't want a little bunny to suffer so my eyelashes can look longer. On a brighter note, I'll be posting reviews within the next day or two, so check back soon!
